The Tennessee Titans officially waived DB Hamp Cheevers from injured reserve on Friday with a settlement.
Cheevers wound up going undrafted out of Boston College last month. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Titans.
Unfortunately, the Titans waived Cheevers earlier in the week with an injury designation and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
During his college career at Boston College, Cheevers recorded 55 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, nine interceptions, one defensive touchdown, two forced fumbles, a recovery and 10 pass defenses over the course of two years and 17 games.
