TRADE: Browns Trade QB Kevin Hogan To Redskins

The Browns announced that they’ve traded QB Kevin Hogan and a 2018 sixth-round pick (#205) to the Redskins in exchange for a 2018 sixth-round pick (#188).

This comes just a day after Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that Hogan requested and received permission for his agent to seek a trade out of Cleveland.

The Browns have now successfully traded away quarterbacks DeShone Kizer, Cody Kessler and Hogan this offseason.

Hogan, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason and was later signed to the Browns’ practice squad before being called up a few months into the 2016 season.

In 2017, Hogan appeared in four games and thrown for 517 yards while completing 61.3 percent of his passes to go along with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
