The Detroit Lions announced Thursday that they’ve traded a 2018 sixth-round pick to the Rams in return for OT Greg Robinson.
Robinson, 24, was taken with the No. 2 overall pick back in 2014. Heโs currently in the final year of his four-year, $21.284 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $3,322,377 for the 2017 season.
The Rams declined to pick up Robison’s fifth-year option a few months ago that was worthย $12,496,000 for the 2018 season.
In 2016, Robinson appeared in 14 games for the Rams and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 71 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.
