The Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News reports that the Eagles are scheduled to interview Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone in Arizona this weekend.
Marrone has been the Syracuse head coach since 2009 after having spent three years asย Sean Payton‘s offensive coordinator in New Orleans. Previously, he spent four years as the Jets offensive line coach. Currently Marrone has an overall record of 25-25 in his three years as a head coach.
A source close to the situation reports that the Eagles will host various candidates this weekend for the vacant head coaching position which include: Denver’s Mike McCoy, Colt’s Bruce Arians, Seattle’s Gus Bradley and Oregon’s Chip Kelly.
Adam Schefterย reports that theย Eagles are expected to request permission to speak with Bengals OC Jay Gruden as well.
