The Minnesota Vikings announced Monday that they’ve waived four players including LS Nick Dooley, WR Armanti Foreman, DT Caushaud Lyons and FB Kamryn Pettway.
The Vikings also signed four tryout players to contracts including WR Chad Beebe, CB Craig James, FB Johnny Stanton and LB Brett Taylor.
Lyons, 25, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Tusculum back in 2015. After brief stints with the Titans, Rams and Lions, he signed on to the Bears practice squad.
Lyons contract officially expired after Chicago’s season ended and he wasn’t signed to a future’s contract. The Vikings signed him to their practice squad this past January and brought him back on a futures contract soon after.
Lyons has yet to appear in an NFL game.
