The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Dantzler, 22, was a two-year starter at Mississippi State. The Vikings selected him with the No. 89 pick in the third round of this year’s draft.
Dantzler signed a four-year, $4,585,625 rookie contract that includes an $895,001 signing bonus.
In 2020, Dantzler has appeared in four games for the Vikings and recorded 24 tackles and no interceptions.
