Adam Schefter has another bit of breaking news. According to his sources, the Minnesota Vikings have signed one of Brett Favre‘s former teammates, Javon Walker, to a deal.
Last it had been reported the team brought Walker in for a workout and made it official today. The Vikings have to be concerned about their receiver depth to even consider bringing him in. Currently both Sidney Rice (hip) and Percy Harvin (migraines) are dealing with injuries and even tight-end Visanthe Shianco has been limited throughout training camp. This is obviously an insurance move on Minnesota’s part but hopefully it will help them buy time until they are back at full strength.
