The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they’ve waived S Jordan Martin and signed CB Terrence Alexander and S Isaiah Wharton to contracts.
Wharton, 23, started all 48 games he played at Rutgers, but was not taken by a team in the 2019 NFL Draft. Undrafted free agents are expected to sign three-year, $1.755 million contracts in 2019.
During his four-year college career, Wharton recorded 196 total tackles, four interceptions, one forced fumble and 31 pass defenses.
Martin, 24, played four years at Toledo and one year at Syracuse. He joined the San Diego Fleet a few months ago.
During his college career, Martin recorded 99 tackles, one sack, one interception and 13 pass defenses in 38 games in college.
