Nicki Jhabvala reports that Washington is promoting WR Cam Sims to the active roster for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
Sims, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018. He was placed on injured reserve a few weeks into the 2018 season.
Washington waived Sims coming out of the preseason last year and he has been on and off of their roster ever since.
In 2019, Sims appeared in seven games for Washington and caught two passes for 27 yards and no touchdowns.
During his college career at Alabama, Sims caught 41 passes for 467 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 23 games.
