Washington announced Thursday that they’ve signed TE Temarrick Hemingway and WR Jeff Badet to their practice squad and released WR Shelton Gibson and TE Hale Hentges from the unit.
Hereโs the Colts updated practice squad:
- DT David Bada (International)
- DE Jordan Brailford
- WR Tony Brown
- CB Aaron Colvin
- G Joshua Garnett
- QB Steven Montez
- LB Jared Norris
- DE Nate Orchard
- LB Donald Payne
- C Ross Pierschbacher
- S Jeremy Reaves
- WR Cam Sims
- CB Cole Luke
- OL David Steinmetz
- K Brett Maher
- TE Temarrick Hemingway
- WR Jeff Badet
Washington brought him in for a tryout earlier this week, so they were clearly impressed enough to quickly sign him.
Hemingway, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Rams back in 2016. He was on and off of the Rams’ roster over his first two years in the NFL before the Broncos signed him to their practice squad in 2018.
Denver eventually promoted Hemingway to their active roster before waiving him shortly afterward. The Panthers claimed him off of waivers but cut him coming out of last year’s preseason.
He re-signed to a futures contract with Carolina this offseason but was among their final roster cuts.
For his career, Hemingway has appeared in 13 total games but hasn’t record any statistics.
