Gibson, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.65 million contract and set to make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season when the Eagles waived him from injured reserve with a settlement during the preseason.
Gibson re-signed with the Eagles during the playoffs but was once again waived back in July.
In 2018, Gibson appeared in 15 games for the Eagles and caught one pass for 48 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
