Veteran WR Brandon Lloyd Doesn’t Intend To Play Football Anymore?

Jason La Canfora of ESPN continues to hear that free agent WR Brandon Lloyddoes not intend to play football.”

Lloyd, 32, was released by the New England Patriots earlier this year and has apparently decided to call it quits after ten seasons, having played for six different teams.

Salaries won’t be guaranteed after Week 2 for vested players. Despite a number of teams needing help at receiver, none have shown any particular interest in Lloyd since he was released by the Patriots.

If this is the end, Lloyd will have finished his career with 385 catches for 5,695 yards and 35 touchdowns, having played for the 49ers, Redskins, Bears, Broncos, Ramos and Patriots.
