49ers QB Alex Smith mentioned that he’s “happy” with the team’s three-year offer and added that he’s not looking for a longer contract which had been previously to be the case, via the Sacramento Bee.
Smith added his rep’s are currently working the specifics of the contract and mentioned that he’s “confident” a deal will get done.

Buccaneers QB Josh Johnson was also rumored to be an option if a deal was finalized with Smith.
