Bears Waive LB Jonathan Anderson From Injured Reserve

The Chicago Bears officially waived LB Jonathan Anderson from injured reserve on Monday.

Anderson, 26, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later added to the team’s practice squad.

Anderson has been on and off of the Bears’ active roster since entering the NFL, but he was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

In 2017, Anderson appeared in 12 games and recorded 10 tackles and no sacks or interceptions for the Bears.
