Broncos Re-Signing DL Kyle Peko

Mike Klis of 9 News is reporting that the Broncos are re-signing DL Kyle Peko on Sunday after he was cut loose yesterday.

Peko, 24, wound up signing three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. Denver waived him back in September and later signed him to their practice squad.

The Broncos waived him on Saturday as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit, but decided to bring him back.

In 2016, Peko appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded two total tackles.

During his one year at Oregon State, Peko recorded 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks and two pass defenses.
