Buccaneers Waived CB Leonard Johnson From I.R.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneeers waived CB Leonard Johnson from the injured reserve list on Thursday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Johnson, 25, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State back in 2012. He wound up signing a one-year, $1 million contract with the Buccaneers back in March, but was placed on injured reserve at the start of the regular season.

In 2014, Johnson appeared in all 16 games for the Bucs and recorded 46 tackles, an interception, three forced fumbles and four pass defenses.
