Cardinals Sign WR Alonzo Russell To PS

According to Darren Urban, the Cardinals are signing WR Alonzo Rusell to their practice squad.

Arizona’s practice squad now consists of:

1. WR Alonzo Russell
2. DT Pasoni Tasini
3. TE Anthony Denham
4. LB Earl Okine
5. LB Connor Harris
6. DE Peli Anau
7. QB Mike Bercovici
8. OT Storm Norton
9. DB Jarell Carter
10. RB Bronson Hill

Russell, 24, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May of last year. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad.

The Bengals re-signed him to a one-year futures deal but waived him once again as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, he recorded 202 receptions for 3,076 yards receiving (15.2 YPC) and 24 touchdowns.
