The Indianapolis Colts have placed CB Josh Mitchell on waivers Wednesday, according to Kevin Bowen.
Mitchell, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in May of last year. However, he lasted just a few weeks with the team before he was waived with the injury designation.
Mitchell later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list and spent the entire year on the list.
During his college career at Nebraska, Mitchell recorded 104 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, three sacks, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 20 pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
