The Miami Dolphins officially signed WR Da’Ron Brown to their practice squad on Thursday.
The Dolphins’ practice squad now consists of:
- S A.J. Hendy
- DE Julius Warmsley
- LB Brandon Watts
- QB Brandon Doughty
- OT Terry Poole
- RB Senorise Perry
- RB Storm Johnson
- CB Bene Benwikere
- OT Jesse Davis
- WR Da’Ron Brown
Brown, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chiefs back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to Kansas City’s practice squad.
The Chiefs elected to bring Brown back on a future/reserve contract this past January, but he was once again among roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Patriots later signed Brown to a contract, only to cut him loose a few days later.
He signed on with the Giants’ practice squad earlier this month but was waived to make room for OL Shane McDermott.
During his college career, Brown caught 155 passes for 2,295 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns while contributing another 160 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground.
Brown has yet to appear in an NFL game.
