Eagles Waive DT Bruce Hector

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that theyโ€™ve waived DT Bruce Hector to make room for WR Golden Tate, who was acquired in a trade with the Lions.

Hector, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida following this yearโ€™s NFL draft. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Hector has been on and off of the Eaglesโ€™ roster this season.

In 2018, Hector has been active for six games and recorded six tackles and a half sack.
