The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve signed WR Max McCaffrey off of the Saints’ practice squad following the injury to Allen Robinson.
- The Jaguars also placed Robinson on injured reserve.
McCaffrey, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Raiders before he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason last season.
The Packers later signed him to their practice squad toward the end of the season but he was among their final roster cuts a few weeks ago.
McCaffrey signed on to the Saints practice squad soon after.
McCaffrey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
