Lions Sign WR Andrew Turzilli To Practice Squad

The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve signed WR Andrew Turzilli to their practice squad on Tuesday, replacing WR Corey Fuller.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Jace Billingsley
  2. CB Alex Carter
  3. G Brandon Thomas
  4. LB Steve Longa
  5. DB Charles Washington
  6. G Matt Rotherman
  7. TE Khari Lee
  8. WR Corey Fuller
  9. DB Adairius Barnes
  10. RB Mike James

Turzilli previously served a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Turzilli, 24, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season, but later signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad.

Tennessee later brought him back when they signed him off of the 49ers’ taxi squad in November. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Turzilli appeared in three games and recorded two receptions for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Titans.
