NFL Notes: Richie Incognito, Percy Harvin, Roy Miller

Richie Incognito

Percy Harvin

Former NFL WR Percy Harvin tells Sports Illustrated he had “mental stresses that I can’t even put into words.”

Harvin battled has dealt with migraines for years along with anxiety.

“Take a hammer and beat it on the side of your head nonstop,” Harvin said of the way migraines felt. “If you’re trying to relax, if someone’s trying to talk to you, that hammer is still going off. You’re trying to eat, still going off.

My heart would be going, I’d be sweating, I felt like everybody in the room was looking at me. My speech was slurring. I didn’t wanna eat. I was gasping for air. You’re so worked up that it’s hard to spit words out,” Harvin said of the anxiety.

The good news for Harvin is that a lot of these issues have gotten better since he retired from the NFL.

A lot of the stuff I struggled with, it just don’t affect me no more. That’s why I’m comfortable talking about it,” Harvin said. “I’m cool with you asking whatever you want. Failing a drug test. The fights. ’Cause it’s gonna help somebody.

Roy Miller

TMZ Sports reports that former NFL DL Roy Miller recently chased down his estranged wife’s SUV and ripped off the door handle.

Miller’s wife has already filed for divorce and claims he’s a violent alcoholic and asked the court for an emergency restraining order, as she’s concerned he could try to hurt them.

“I don’t believe he is stable,” Nicole wrote in court docs … “I am afraid he will do something even more damaging to myself or the kids.

Last year, Miller was charged with domestic battery and the NFL recently suspended him six games (NFLTR). It’s very likely Miller’s NFL career is over.
