The Los Angeles Rams officially signed LB Garrett Sickels to their practice squad on Thursday.
The Rams’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Omarius Bryant
- DB Isaiah Johnson
- WR Paul McRoberts
- FB Sam Rogers
- OLB Carlos Thompson
- TE Johnny Mundt
- C Aaron Neary
- DBÂ Kevin Peterson
- WR Fred Brown
- LB Garrett Sickels
Sickels, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
The Browns later signed him to their practice squad but he released a few weeks later.
During his college career at Penn State, Sickels recorded 94 tackles, 21.5 tackles for a loss, 11.5 sacks, a forced fumble, two recoveries and a pass defense over the course of 33 games.
