Saints Expected To Re-Sign CB Sterling Moore

According to Herbie Teope, the Saints are planning to re-sign veteran CB Sterling Moore to bolster their cornerback depth.

Moore, 27, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Oakland before he was waived a few weeks into his rookie season.

Moore bounced around a bit with the Patriots, Cowboys, Buccaneers and before signing a one-year contract with the Saints right before the start of the 2016 regular season. Moore returned to the Saints on a one-year, $900,000 this past March but was cut loose just last week.

In 2017, Moore has appeared in two games for the Saints and recorded three tackles and no interceptions.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
