The Carolina Panthers announced several roster moves Saturday, as they got down to 53 players for the start of the 2015 season.
The Panthers either released for waived:

- S Marcus Ball
- WR Brenton Bersin
- LB Brian Blechen
- WR Mike Brown
- CB Carrington Byndom
- WR Damiere Byrd
- DE Rakim Cox
- OT David Foucault
- LB Adarius Glanton
- CB T.J. Heath
- TE Marcus Lucas
- G Jordan McCray
- DT Terry Redden
- TE Scott Simonson
- OT Martin Wallace
- CB Lou Young
- G Ricky Henry
- RB Jordan Todman
- LB Jason Trusnik
- C Brian Folkerts (injured)
The Panthers also placed DE Arthur Miley on season-ending injured reserve.
Bersin, 25, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Wofford back in 2012. He was brought back on a one-year deal worth $510,000 back in March.
In 2014, Bersin appeared in 15 games for the Panthers and caught 13 pases for 151 yards receiving and a touchdown.
