The Cowboys will likely place Escobar on season-ending injured reserve in the coming days.

Escobar, 24, is in the third year of his four-year, $4.21 million rookie contract that included a $1.442 million signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $787,772 this season and another $979,158 in 2016.

Entering tonight’s game, Escobar appeared in 13 games and caught eight passes for 64 yards and one touchdown for the Cowboys.
