Jets Worked Out Former Falcons OT Lamar Holmes

The New York Jets worked out former Falcons OT Lamar Holmes and DL Freddie Bishop on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Holmes, 26, was taken in third round of the 2012. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2.633 million rookie contract that included a $533,600 signing bonus, and stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

The Falcons placed Holmes on the PUP list at the start of the season before cutting him loose with an injury settlement close to a month ago.

Last year, Holmes was limited to appearing in just four games for the Falcons.
