Broncos
- Troy Renck of the Denver Post writes that the two-year, $24.5 million contract signed by Rams QB Nick Foles won’t be a sufficient offer from the Broncos if they’re looking to re-sign QB Brock Osweiler.
- Should Osweiler depart, Renck lists Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick, Chase Daniel and Drew Stanton as quarterback options worth considering.
- Renck expects DL Malik Jackson and LB Danny Trevathan to command “top dollar” on the open market and have a number of suitors. Renck specially mentions the Raiders as a possible option for Jackson and the Bears for Trevathan.
- Renck can see DB Omar Bolden and S David Burton securing more money from other teams.
- In regards to RB Ronnie Hillman, Renck isn’t closing the door on a possible return.
Buccaneers
- Rick Stroud mentions that the franchise tag in 2015 for a running back will be close to $11 million, so it seems unlikely that they would use it on Doug Martin.
Jaguars
- Michael DiRocco of ESPN thinks the Jaguars should re-sign backup QB Chad Henne this offseason. DiRocco suggests a two-year, $5-$6 million deal as something that could make sense for the two sides.
- DiRocco mentions that HC Gus Bradley has said that TE Marcedes Lewis played at a high level last year. In the end, DiRocco believes they should be able to work out a new deal to keep him in Jacksonville.
- DiRocco thinks the Jaguars would also be smart to re-sign DE Ryan Davis, who is a restricted free agent.
Raiders
- According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, the Raiders will be “looking to add another running back” during the offseason.
