49ers Re-Sign DE Tony Jerod-Eddie To A One-Year, $1.3M Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the 49ers have re-signed DE Tony Jerod-Eddie to a one-year contract worth $1.3 million.

Jerod-Eddie, 26, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2012. He returned to the 49ers on a one-year exclusive rights tender last year, but did not receive a restricted offer from the team as a restricted free agent.

In the end, the 49ers saved over $300,000 by not tendering him at the low level.

In 2015, Jerod-Eddie appeared in all 16 games and recorded 14 tackles, one sacks and four pass defenses for the 49ers.
