San Francisco 49ers FS Dashon Goldson has officially signed his one-year franchise  tender of $6.212 million.
The 49ers made Goldson pretty fair offer a few months ago, but he ultimately felt that he could secure a better deal as an unrestricted free agent. Goldson appears to be looking for a similar contract to the ones signed by Eric Weddle and Michael Griffin, as they essentially established the bar for safeties.
