Attaochu, 25, was taken in the second round of the 2014 draft by the Chargers. He played out the final year of his four-year, $4,203,100 contract with the San Diego Chargers and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Attaochu appeared in four games for the Chargers and recorded seven tackles and no sacks before he was placed on injured reserve with a broken foot.
