Holliday was just waived from the Buccaneers’ injured reserve early last week, so this is his first reported opportunity since he became available.
Holliday, 28, signed on with the Buccaneers last month, but his stay was obviously short lived. During the offseason, he signed a one-year deal worth $700,000 with the Giants, but wound up being placed on injured reserve.
Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner for the Broncos a few years ago as he totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns over the course of two years in Denver.
However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been much of a contributor on the offensive side of the ball. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
