49ers WR/KR Richie James Jr Expected To Be Out Two Months With Wrist Fracture

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that 49ers WR/KR Richie James Jr. broke a bone in his wrist while training and is expected to be sidelined at least two months.

This comes just a day after the news that 49ers WR Deebo Samuel suffered a broken foot and is expected to miss 10-12 weeks.

James, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.5 million contract.

In 2019, James appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers and caught six passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. He also totaled 428 kick return yards and 264 punt return yards.
