Robert Griffin III Cleared To Play Against The Eagles

Washington Redskins team medical staff have cleared QB Robert Griffin III to start against the Eagles in Week 16, per Adam Schefter.

Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan told reporters on Friday that he’s “98 percent” sure that Robert Griffin III will be able to suit up against the Eagles in Week 16, per Zac Boyer.

Griffin hasn’t been cleared by doctors yet, but Shanahan added that he expects that to come later tonight.

RGIII was able to put in another full practice on Friday, so it seems very likely that he will be under center this weekend. We’ll have more regarding his status leading up to kickoff On Sunday.
