Dolphins

  • Dolphins HC Adam Gase said that CB Xavien Howard is “week to week” with a knee injury after getting hurt while intercepting a pass last weekend. Gase added that they will know more later in the week regarding Howard. (Adam Beasley)
  • Gase did, however, say that Gase on he thinks Howard will “be back at some point this season.” (Armando Salguero)

Jets

  • On Wednesday, Jets QB Sam Darnold practiced in full. However, HC Todd Bowles told reporters that it’s too early to tell if Darnold will start on Sunday. (Connor Hughes)
  • Bowles said S Marcus Maye’s underwent surgery on Tuesday and is expected to need a couple of months to recover. (Connor Hughes)
  • The Jets worked out DB Tyvis Powell and WR DeAngelo Yancey this week. New York elected to sign Powell to their practice squad following the session. (Howard Balzer
  • Jets designated OLB Josh Martin to return from injured reserve. (NFLTR)

Patriots

Patriots owner Robert Kraft says it’s “flattering” that teams are interested in hiring OC Josh McDaniels
