Bills

  • Bill GM Brandon Beane says they have interest in free agent DE Ezekiel Ansah, but they, “aren’t in on him or out on him” right now. (Sal Capaccio)
  • Undrafted free agent WR David Sills received a $35,000 signing bonus from the Bills. (Aaron Wilson)

Dolphins

  • New Dolphins QB Josh Rosen says he sees his opportunity with Miami as a one-year tryout. (Adam Beasley)
  • Rosen believes he can be a franchise quarterback and a good leader. (Beasley)
  • Rosen acknowledged it’s been tough to fight against perception: “I think I’m a really good teammate. It’s not up to me to judge. I had a little bit of bad perception at first but I’ve just tried to be me and let it straighten out.” (Armando Salguero)
  • According to Rosen, this feels like he’s been drafted all over again: “Very rarely do you get a second chance to make a first impression… It feels like I got drafted twice.” (Cameron Wolfe)

Jets

  • According to the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta, the Jets tried to trade up for Georgia WR Mecole Hardman, but were sniped by the Chiefs. 

Patriots

  • Texans TE Ryan Griffin could make sense as a trade target for the Patriots, per Ben Volin.
  • The Patriots gave undrafted free agent C Tyler Gauthier a $10,000 signing bonus and guaranteed $60,000 of his base salary. (Nick Underhill)
  • Patriots traded TE Jacob Hollister to the Seahawks for a conditional 2020 seventh-round pick. (NFLTR)
