AFC North Notes: Bengals, Browns, Ravens, Steelers

Bengals

Browns

Browns HC Freddie Kitchens says he’s not worried about WR Odell Beckham missing portions of voluntary workouts.

โ€œLike I told you guys a couple of weeks ago, Odell did not know where he was going to be,โ€ Kitchens said via Pro Football Talk. โ€œHe did not know that he was going to be in Cleveland up until three weeks ago now. He has some things to tie up, but he thought that it was important enough to be here today so he was here for his teammates, for himself and for his coaches and things like that. My hat is off to him. He told me something a couple of weeks ago, and he made it work. He had to go through some hoops to get here, but it was important enough for him to be here.”

Ravens

Steelers

  • According to Gerry Dulac, while negotiations have been slow, the Steelers aren’t concerned about being able to sign QB Ben Roethlisberger to an extension.
  • Roethlisberger has been out of town and the Steelers have communicated exclusively with his agent Ryan Tollner, which has slowed down the process.
  • Tollner also represents three other young quarterbacks, including Jared Goff, Carson Wentz and Marcus Mariota, who are also discussing extensions that could help set the market for Roethlisberger.
  • The Steelers hosted Oregon S Ugo Amadi, Oklahoma State LB Jordan Brailford, Washington LB Ben Burr-Kirven and Maryland S Darnell Savage on pre-draft visits Wednesday. (Bob Labriola)
