AFC North Notes: Bengals, Ravens, Steelers

Bengals

  • Katherine Terrell says she is “intrigued” by the possibility of the Bengals signing DT Gerald McCoy, given that they currently have around $23 million in available cap space.
  • Greg Auman is unsure whether the Bengals would be “at the top” of McCoy‘s list, considering they have not reached the playoffs in years.

Ravens

New Ravens WR Michael Floyd says he’s hoping to resurrect his once-promising NFL career in Baltimore.

“I think I have a lot left in the tank,” Floyd said, via the BaltimoreRavens.com. “It’s just getting an opportunity to showcase it. This is a good place to bring it back to life. Some places I’ve been recently, the opportunities weren’t there. You can blame that on whatever. But here, I think I have a good opportunity to be successful.”

Steelers

Steelers CB Mike Hilton believes he deserves to be paid more than the $645,000 he’ll make under his exclusive rights tender this year, but he still showed up for voluntary workouts in the hope of getting an extension done.

“I’m trying to show I want to be part of this team,” Hilton said, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “That’s why I’m here. I haven’t missed anything. I just want to show I want to be around for a long time.”
