Bengals
- Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer writes that the Bengals could consider using a mid-to-late round running back on a running back after cutting former fourth-round RB Mark Walton last week.
-
Dehner Jr lists Texas A&M’s Trayveon Williams, Kentucky’s Benny Snell, Oklahoma State’s Justice Hill, Iowa State’s David Montgomery, and Utah State’s Darwin Thompson as running back prospects worth watching for the Bengals.
-
Of this group, Dehner Jr predicts they’ll take Thompson in the sixth round.
Steelers
- Steelers announced that they hosted Toledo WR/KR Diontae Johnson for a pre-draft visit on Friday.
Titans
- Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site believes the team will focus on drafting defensive linemen in this year’s draft.
- Regarding the possibility of Tennessee pursuing free agent DL Ndamukong Suh, Wyatt says he wouldn’t get his hopes up and adds“that ship has sailed.”
- Wyatt believes Mississippi State DT Jeffery Simmons (ACL) could be “in play” at No. 19 overall, but he can’t see Simmons dropping to them in the second round.
- As for a potential contract extension for Titans QB Marcus Mariota, Wyatt writes that Mariota still needs to prove he can stay healthy before the team commits a big-money deal to the former first-round pick.
- Wyatt expects the Titans to draft a receiver at some point in the 2019 NFL Draft but isn’t sure what round they’ll look to do so.
- Georgia Tech DE Anree Saint-Amour had a private workout for the Titans on Thursday. (Aaron Wilson)
