AFC Notes: Browns, Jets, Ravens

Browns

  • On Tuesday, Patriots OC Josh McDaniels told reporters: “I have had no contact with (the Cleveland Browns).” (Doug Kyed)

Jets

  • Rich Cimini reports that the Jets signed WR Quincy Enunwa to a four-year/$33.4 million contract that includes $20.25 million in total guarantees and $10 million fully guaranteed.
  • Enunwa receives a $9 million sign bonus that’s pro-rated over five years. He carries cap figures of $2.8M (2019), $7.8M (2020), $9.6M (2021), and $11.4M (2022).
  • According to Cimini, Enunwa can earn $2.6M in escalators if he’s on the 53-man roster in any game during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

Ravens

  • Jay Glazer expects QB Joe Flacco to have a market this offseason and adds that the Ravens may be able to recoup some value for him in a trade.
  • Glazer notes that this year’s quarterback draft class isn’t very good, which could result in teams looking to veteran options in free agency or the trade market.
