- Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported earlier in the day that Colts QB Philip Rivers will likely need to undergo surgery after the season to repair a plantar plate rupture in his foot.
- After the game, Rivers told reporters that he doesn’t feel like he has any limitations due to the issue: “Rather than getting into the details, I’m just working each week to be able to be out there. I don’t feel any limitations out there. It’s just managing it.” (Stephen Holder)
- Colts HC Frank Reich said that Rivers’ toe/foot injury is not at a point where it’s hindering the way they’re calling the offense. (George Bremer)
Jaguars
- Jaguars HC Doug Marrone says he’s sticking with Mike Glennon as the starting quarterback for their Week 14 game against the Titans. (Michael DiRocco)
- Jaguars rookie WR Laviska Shenault has a thumb injury, but Marrone said after the game that initial X-rays did not show a fracture. (Michael DiRocco)

- Titans HC Mike Vrabel was asked about the report that OLB Jadeveon Clowney is out for the season after undergoing knee surgery: “We can reflect on players injured at the end of the season. He hasn’t been out there for a few weeks. He’s on IR, but not sure where his health is short term. I’m not expecting to have JD back.” (Terry McCormick)
