- Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported earlier in the day that Colts QB Philip Rivers will likely need to undergo surgery after the season to repair a plantar plate rupture in his foot.
- After the game, Rivers told reporters that he doesnโt feel like he has any limitations due to the issue: โRather than getting into the details, Iโm just working each week to be able to be out there. I donโt feel any limitations out there. Itโs just managing it.โ (Stephen Holder)

- Titans HC Mike Vrabel was asked about the report that OLB Jadeveon Clowney is out for the season after undergoing knee surgery: โWe can reflect on players injured at the end of the season.
