- As for Colts DE Jabaal Sheard, Holder says there’s currently nothing new.
- Holder mentions that the Colts are expected to re-sign LT Anthony Castonzo, who is set to become a free agent but has already committed to returning next season. Castonzo briefly mulled retirement before deciding to play for at least one more season.
Steelers
- Despite not having much cap space this offseason, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic lists ten players the Steelers may be able to acquire in free agency including RB Jordan Howard, RB LeSean McCoy, TE Richard Rodgers, TE Charles Clay, TE Logan Thomas, DT Tim Jernigan, OLB Jatavis Brown, DT Andrew Billings, OLB Nate Orchard, and WR Pharoh Cooper.
- Kaboly also notes that the Steelers have never signed a player on the opening day of free agency.
Titans
- Jim Wyatt of the team’s official site explains that the Titans gained cap benefit by re-signing DB Chris Milton to a one-year contract just one day after waiving him.
- Wyatt still expects QB Marcus Mariota to sign with another team in free agency that will give him an opportunity to start.
- According to Wyatt, the Titans have been keeping an eye on some XFL players.
- Wyatt also expects the Titans to address the cornerback position in free agency or the draft, considering that they could lose free-agent CBs Logan Ryan, LeShaun Sims, Tye Smith, and Tramaine Brock this offseason.
