Dolphins

Regarding his job status, Dolphins HC Adam Gase said there’s no reason for him to lobby for his job.

“We haven’t had a discussion about it,” Gase said, via the Miami Herald. “It’s been business as usual for us. I’m only worried about this week. I’m still here, so I don’t need to lobby for my job. I’m not worried about that. I’m worried about Buffalo.”

Gase added that injuries have played a sizeable role in the team’s 2018 performance.

“We lost good players,” Gase said. “You know we don’t have a 90 man roster, right? We lost good players. We have 53 guys. It’s not like you have a minor league system where you have a huge stable of guys backing up the starters. It’s a thin roster. Every team is. You are hoping you can stay as healthy as possible. We are living in a little bit of fantasy land thinking there are a whole bunch of guys waiting in the wings.”

Jets

• Jets HC Todd Bowles told reporters that chances are “slim” of WR Quincy Enunwa playing this week. (Todd Bowles)
• According to Bowles, WR Jermaine Kearse suffered an Achilles injury on Sunday and is undergoing more tests on Monday.

Titans

• Titans HC Mike Vrabel announced Monday that QB Marcus Mariota is dealing with a stinger, but they’re hoping he can do some work today and during the week. (Jim Wyatt)
• According to Vrabel, Mariota feels a lot better today than he did after the injuries he suffered during their games against the Dolphins and Colts earlier this season. (Jim Wyatt)
