- NJ.com’s Mike Kaye lists the Colts as a possible landing spot for WR Nelson Agholor on a one-year deal this offseason, as he’d be able to reunite with former Eagles coaches Frank Reich and Mike Groh.
- Pro Football Network’s Benjamin Allbright reports the Colts would have interest in Broncos DT Shelby Harris in free agency.
- NFL Media’s Gregg Rosenthal doesn’t rule out the possibility of the Colts cutting QB Jacoby Brissett despite the amount of guaranteed money they still owe him.
- The Athletic’s Stephen Holder points out that even if the Colts didn’t play QB Chad Kelly in 2019, they did keep him on their active roster to avoid other teams trying to poach him, which suggests they have some value on him as a developmental quarterback.
Jaguars
- Michael DiRocco of ESPN writes it “seems clear” that the Jaguars plan on starting Gardner Minshew over Nick Foles in 2020.
- As for the possibility of trading Foles, DiRocco points out that Jacksonville will have a difficult time dealing him since his contract averages $22 million per year and carries $33.875 million in dead money for 2020.
