Broncos

• The Broncos are reportedly scheduled to work out former Bills QB Nathan Peterman scheduled next week. (NFLTR)
• According to Howard Balzer, the Broncos worked out WR Bug Howard, TE Tim Semisch, and TE Clive Walford on Tuesday.
• Broncos waived LB A.J. Johnson. (NFLTR)
• Broncos promoted OLB Jeff Holland to their active roster.

Chargers

Chargers HC Anthony Lynn said DT Brandon Mebane will not be available for a second straight week due to a family matter.

“He has some family things that he needs to take care of, and his leadership is needed elsewhere,” Lynn said, via Eric Williams.

• Chargers OC Ken Whisenhunt said of his reported interest in the Georgia Tech HC job: “I’m honored that my name would be mentioned, but right now it’s really more about the Steelers. I don’t have any interest in it being a distraction whatsoever.” (Eric Williams)

Raiders

• When asked if he expects WR Martavis Bryant (knee) back this season, Raiders OC Greg Olson said: “Oh yeah.”
• Vic Tafur says Bryant is in good spirits today and Raiders’ coaches are still excited about his potential, but leery of his “reliability.”
