According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Alabama edge rusher Terrell Lewis has had video conferences with Bears, Lions, Bengals, Titans, Rams, Ravens, Jaguars, Seahawks and also visited with the Eagles.
Lewis spoke with the Texans at the Combine and Senior Bowl. Beyond that, Wilson says the Cowboys and Patriots have “done a lot of homework on him.”
Lewis, 21, is considered to be day two prospect in this year’s draft class. He was a second-team All-SEC selection as a redshirt junior last year.
Dane Brugler has Lewis rated as his No. 51 overall prospect and No. 6 edge rusher in this year’s draft class.
Lance Zierlein compares Lewis to Andre Branch.
During his college career at Alabama, Lewis recorded 47 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, a fumble recovery and three passes defended over the course of two seasons and 14 games.
