Alabama QB A.J. McCarron Visiting The Browns & Ravens This Week

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Alabama QB A.J. McCarron is visiting with the Browns on Tuesday and has a visit scheduled with the Ravens for Wednesday.

  • Albert Breer reports that McCarron will work out privately for the Rams on May 1 in Tuscaloosa.

McCarron has been connected to the Cardinals by multiple reporters in recent days and has already met with the Jaguars.

Cleveland is obviously casting a wide net as they prepare to draft another quarterback to develop in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the Ravens have said that they are looking for an upgrade at backup quarterback and have yet to do anything in free agency. With this in mind, McCarron could be someone to watch if he’s still on the board in rounds two or three.

During his senior season, McCarron completed 67.3 percent of his passes for 3,063 yards, 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

We have the Bengals taking McCarron in the second-round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
