San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh mentioned that QB Alex Smith has made “dramatic improvements” to his throwing motion, via the San Jose Mercury News.
Smith has been meeting with Tom House, a motion specialist and former major league pitcher, to correct “two mechanical flaws” in his motion. during the offseason, and it appears that the results are encouraging.
Even a slightly improved Alex Smith would go a long way in the team’s offense, especially when you consider that they’ve added a number of weapons to their roster during the offseason.
