Brad Biggs reports that the Bears are expected to sign WR Titus Davis to a contract after be participated in the team’s rookie minicamp this weekend on a tryout basis.

Davis, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in 2015. He was unfortunately among their early roster cuts, but he later caught on with the Jets for a brief period before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

Buffalo cut him loose toward the end of the 2015 season but he managed to finish out the year on the Jets’ practice squad. New York elected to bring Davis back on a future/reserve contract last year before he was eventually waived the reserve/left squad list.

Davis has yet to appear in an NFL game
